Meet Amelia, a passionate local voice for Park Ward who truly believes that if you want to make a difference, you have to get involved.
Amelia has already made a real impact in the community. She set up Grimsby Park Wombles, bringing residents together for litter picking sessions, volunteers with Park Care to help look after People’s Park, and previously gave her time as a scout leader, supporting young people to learn new skills and grow in confidence.
In her role as an organiser for UNISON, Amelia supports public sector workers to secure fair treatment at work. She is also a committed member of the Labour women’s group, championing women’s rights and safety both locally and nationally.
Amelia is a hardworking and dedicated member of the community, ready to bring her energy and experience to make a real difference for residents in Park Ward.
