Born and raised in Grimsby, Vicky grew up on Freeman Street above her mum's shop.After studying at Grimsby Art School and graduating from the Royal College of Music in London, she returned home in 2006 to give back to her community.
Vicky founded the Gate Gallery, championing local artists, and has led the Great Grimsby Ice Factory Trust since 2010-working to restore the town's historic docks and drive culture-led regeneration.A passionate campaigner, she has been active in the Save Our Libraries movement and continues to stand up for Grimsby's heritage and community spaces.Vicky is a proud Labour member and a committed voice for Waltham.
