We're really proud to introduce Sylvia as our Labour candidate For Sylvia, standing in this election is about service, community, and making a real difference.

She sees it as a true privilege to represent her ward and is deeply committed to improving the prosperity and safety of the area for everyone who calls it home.

Throughout her career, Sylvia has supported people through life-changing moments, worked within businesses, and given her time as a volunteer trustee and Chair of local organisations.

Those experiences have shaped her strong sense of care, responsibility, and determination to stand up for others.Now retired, Sylvia continues to give back in everything she does.

As Women’s Officer for the Grimsby and Cleethorpes Labour Party, she works alongside an incredible team delivering community projects, offering practical support, and raising funds for local causes.

She brings people together, turns ideas into action, and always follows through.Away from campaigning, Sylvia enjoys holidays, sport, reading, and singing with the Philharmonic Choir, something she describes as finding her voice later in life, and loving every minute of it.
